The food? Simply amazing!! Great service!! Our waitress provided great service and happy to answer our many questions. Our cook? A total sweetheart. I will definitely be going back!!

Service and food are always good! Love it!

Very short classic menu. Added hash browns for some $2 and change to my omelet that were maybe 1 cup of hash browns if that much. Omelet was good, coffee was weak and flavorless. Yes it's a classic local diner but it was an underwhelming experience.

Nice hometown cafe with Great comfort food. An old fashioned small town cafe experience. Low prices and a friendly and efficient staff. If you are traveling through the area you should give it a try. It's like stepping back in time a few decades.

Standard American food. Tastes fine and priced right. Nothing fancy but nice. Great service from a very good waitress who likes The Red Got Chili Peppers.

I love The Kitchen. I remember when I was a child and it was called Bev's Kitchen and it has barely changed. The food is diner great and the waitresses are awesome!

One of my favorite lunch and breakfast stops in town. My favorites include the oatmeal for breakfast....although you really cant beat ANYTHING on the breakfast menu. Lovelovelove the homemade onion rings. Patty melt and tuna melt both to die for!

After living in Owatonna for 22 months I finally got to The Kitchen. Just what I was looking for, great home cooking at a good value with local ownership. A real gem for the community.

First time eating here today for lunch. I had the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The fries were delicious as well. Very friendly service and a wonderful atmoshpere to enjoy your meal in. Will definitely be back to try more things off the menu.

Very good homemade breakfast!

We like a lot to go out. Last night we went to this fine place which we didn’t know before. We spent a delightful time there with first-rate dishes and a well-trained team and a professional chief cook. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we shall definitely go again soon. We warmly recommend.

Food took 50 minutes pretty bad experience

We ate breakfast on a weekday with our picky 5 year old. He loved it. It is a quiet, simple, hometown diner. You wouldn't come here for the aesthetics but you would come here for a delicious breakfast at a great price! It was perfect and our food was made fresh and quick. Added Review: We have gone several mornings now and continue to get excellent service...again if you want good service, food and prices this place is perfect. Yes, it's a little outdated, but we found the history of the building to be pretty fascinating.

Great local small town restaurant. Service is good, atmosphere is warm and friendly. Their food is great, well priced and has that home cooked feel.

This was the first time I've been there and I loved it! It brought me back to when i was a child in the old cafe in my home town. It had the bar where you can sit and have coffee with the locals. The food was actually homemade. The onion rings were soooooo good. Definitely going back

What a great breakfast we had Monday morning at the Kitchen. Many retired Educators met for breakfast and some socializing. My omelet was great and the waitress service couldn't have been better!
